【企業實習】Joint research and summer internship for intelligent automotive solutions from MobileDrive 富智捷
In 2022, we continued to ship new smart cockpit HW/SW and delivered the first made-in-Taiwan ADAS system (HW/SW) to the automaker. We are awarded the first AR-navigation system by a global automaker. For these advanced solutions — to be delivered for millions of vehicles — AI (computer vision, machine learning, etc.) techniques play an important role.
With that, we will continue to have interns in summer 2023. We aim for advanced technologies which are vital for future auto solutions and have the potential to be published in the top conferences (e.g., CVPR, AAAI, ICRA, etc.). We have found it a good balance in proof-of-concept (POC) and academic publications in prior collaborations. We also appreciate mutual collaborations between MD and advising faculties. The format/venue is flexible and adjustable with further mutual discussions.
The internship topics include:
- Computer vision: 2D/3D object detection, lane detection, semantic segmentation, multi-task learning, BEV perception, data augmentation, online camera calibration
- Data pipeline: 3D data acquisition, learning for 3D sensors, auto labeling, learning-based annotation system, active learning
- Auto-driving: end-to-end autonomous prediction and planning
- Neural network optimization: neural architecture search, network compression, edge optimization
Having practiced academic and industrial roles in the past years, I have seen a great balance and opportunities for AI/ML/CV research in auto industry. I am more than happy to share what we have been learning from the international partners and bridge the collaborations to TW-based universities and industry partners.
